​​D-Day is the perfect time to honor the soldiers who trained at Camp Toccoa and all veterans who jumped into Normandy on June 6, 1944. The 10K Run/Walk will take you in the footsteps of the 18,000 volunteers who trained on Currahee Mountain during WWII.

All proceeds from the events will be used for the Camp Toccoa at Currahee Project to preserve the Legacy of Leadership exemplified by the men who trained there. Thank you for supporting the event and celebrating the Greatest Generation!

When: Check-in begins at 7:00 a.m.; 10K Run/Walk begins at 8:00 a.m. Run/Walk will be held rain or shine; no refunds

Where: Currahee Mountain is 5 miles west of Toccoa on Highway 123, 2351 Ayersville Road. ​

Directions: From Atlanta, take I-85N to 985; continue north to Toccoa/Lavonia exit (365/17); turn right onto Highway 123, go two miles and the property entrance is on the left. From Greenville, take I-85 S to Lavonia/Toccoa exit (17); turn left on the 365/17 bypass, left onto Highway 123, go two miles and the property is on the left.

Registration: $35 per person if postmarked on or before May 11, 2026. Late registration and race day registrations $40. T-shirts: are not guaranteed on registration day & payments received after May 11th. A limited number of shirts may be available with registration on race day, first come, first served basis.

Awards (for 10K Only): Overall Male/Female, Overall Masters Male/Female and the top three (3) finishers in each age group: 10 & Under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70-79, 80 & Over.
