Camp Toccoa at Currahee holds a 2 - day special event in commemoration of one of the most significant days in history, D-DAY  --  the invasion of Normandy by the Allies -- where the brave men who trained at Camp Toccoa played an integral role in the success of the mission.

The weekend kickoffs Friday evening with a Banquet & Silent Auction featuring a guest speaker.

Then on Saturday there is the "Currahee Run / Walk 10K"  -- 3 miles up and 3 miles down Currahee Mountain. Experience the course the soldiers of Camp Toccoa experienced while training for their missions.
